Minelab have re-vamped the old X-Terra series to release a single, cutting-edge switchable, single-frequency detector. The X-Terra Pro is an entry-level/intermediate, waterproof, amphibious detector!

The X-Terra Pro is switchable, single-frequency metal detector with a waterproof rating of 5 metres, very impressive if you consider a person of 6 feet in height is only 1.83 metres tall.

The X-Terra Pro looks amazing, with its ‘camo green’ coloured control box and arm cup, and a shape which looks like a hybrid between the Minelab Equinox and the Minelab Vanquish. We think it’s the coolest looking machine around the price and its performance is absolutely brilliant.

It’s the perfect machine for starting your detecting adventures with if you are brand-new to the hobby, but also a great specialised option to add to a detectorists tool-kit for those who want a modern, fun beach detector.

It’s lightweight at only 1.3kg and can be collapsed, or even fully disassembled in a matter of minutes. This means that transportation is simple enough for packing away in a small bag, and even taking on holiday.
