The Viking VK10+ Metal Detector builds on the very popular VK10 format but adds depth with a professional 10" polo search head whilst retaining the no-fuss simplicity of the VK10. No tuning or setting up is required and so is literally a ‘switch on and go’ metal detector. As a motion metal detector, the VK10+ continually adjusts itself to compensate for ground conditions and gives a sharp signal whenever a target object is found. A Pinpoint button then allows you to 'zero in' exactly over the top of the target. The discrimination control can be used to reject lower quality metal targets, while the sensitivity control enables the best performance to be obtained from the metal detector regardless of where it is used.
The VK10+ Metal Detector is aimed at the adult enthusiast but is suitable for beginners and older children who require a more sophisticated metal detector than basic non-motion metal detectors.
We like the Viking VK10 because of its refreshing ruggedness and simplicity. There are a lot of metal detectors falling into the sub £150 bracket which sell themselves by offering plenty of knobs and switches, which in reality don't do alot (except serve to confuse). The Vk10 proves simple is best! In the field it is light and nimble and performance is outstanding for a detector of this price. For anyone wishing to get a fuss free head start in the hobby the VK10 is a perfect choice.
